In 2023, the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation reviewed several significant disputes arising from leasing agreements. These disputes are united by a common theme: protecting the interests of the lessee as the economically weaker party to the agreement, as opposed to the lessor, who is a professional participant in civil transactions.
