Developed the legal position on Russian law for the largest dispute being heard in English courts, concerning the loss of aircraft by lessors leased to Russian airlines, with a total value exceeding $9 billion USD.
Advised a major Russian state corporation on obtaining interim measures within the Russian Federation in support of ICC arbitration. The claim for damages was related to a breach of an EPC contract.
Advised a major Chinese oil and gas company in a dispute against a leading Russian oil company concerning the determination of the price for supplied oil, as well as the justification of the tariff for oil transportation via the Eastern Siberia – Pacific Ocean pipeline.
Advised a company within the group of a leading Russian metal producer on the most effective recovery of debt under bank guarantees from a major European bank, including assessing the prospects and subsequent enforcement of court judgments if the debt is recovered in a Russian court or in an Austrian state court.
Advised a Russian company specializing in cybersecurity solutions in a dispute concerning the recovery of damages from a leading American manufacturer of computer hardware and servers.
Advised a major metallurgical company and successfully conducted negotiations to amend/increase the price for manufactured products with the operator of the largest Russia-Europe energy project.
Legal support for structuring shareholder relations within a vertically integrated meat production and processing holding. Work was conducted across several jurisdictions, including Russia, the Netherlands, and the Seychelles, amidst a conflict between shareholders and with third parties.
